{"id":365,"date":"2013-12-05T13:48:50","date_gmt":"2013-12-05T12:48:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.simweb.ch\/blog\/?p=365"},"modified":"2013-12-06T09:37:00","modified_gmt":"2013-12-06T08:37:00","slug":"365","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.simweb.ch\/blog\/2013\/12\/365\/","title":{"rendered":"Bootstrap pkgng without answering &#8220;y&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As per FreeBSD 8.4 9.2 and 10.0 (BETA as of writing) pkg will start replacing the old pkg_* tools, but the installed pkg command is only a bootstrapping command that downloads a current version of pkg and install it.<br \/>\nI like pkg, and coming from Debian apt-get and Redhat yum, the old pkg_* tools looked a bit - let's say \"rough\" - while pkg looks and behaves quite familiar after using apt and yum.<\/p>\n<p>I was looking for bootstrapping pkg (inside a ezjail flavour) without having to hit the 'y' each and every time.
